Control the volume of each application in Android
When you using of YouTube and suddenly you feel that the video that producing not much sound. Compare to the volume, You tried to increase until you hear well. If you are going to another application (for example WhatsApp) and you open an audio note that you have just send. Sounds very high and then remember "It is true, if you got the volume before". The sound controls in Android are good but sometimes when we move from one application to another we do not want the same settings and we have to be with the buttons up and down in each sound: notifications, music, alarm, system sounds...
If you are always doing juggling with the applications and the sound, I will like to know that there is a way to control the volume of each app independently and have everything well tied and not lead a scare with a sound very high or forget an alarm unintentionally. As you can easily imagine, none of this is in the settings that have Android by default so that we tap settling in an application to make all the dirty work of automation.
A tedious configuration at the beginning but very useful once we have it at our taste
There are several applications to control the volume in Android but to explain how to do this we have decided to use Volume Control App. His name does not sound very attractive but it is a very complete tool that allows us to control the sound of each app and that the settings changed or maintain depending on what more we needed in our time.
Let us take one example: Normally we have the mobile with all sounds enabled (system, calls, alarms, notifications...) but when we see videos on YouTube, twitch or VLC does not we like that we bother. With this app we can configure the sound settings for that in these three services that we have mentioned all volumes except the music is to be automatically lowered when we open the app and is restored to the previous state when the shut.
To open the App Volume Control for the first time we see that offers us a list with all the applications that we have installed. To manage a set of audio settings, we just have to activate a switch and within configure each volume parameter to our taste. Finally we mark if we are to maintain or not to exit the application and ready.
We can also set the tool for you to notify us when there are changes of volume and delay sounds so as not to be distracted. The number of options that offers is overwhelming at first but once we understand all that we can do with it, it becomes a very complete application and useful.
The first steps with this application are the most cumbersome because we have to go by configuring all of the controls of those apps that interest us. If we have many and we want to set everything in detail, we can invest easy a hour putting everything to our taste. Now, once just made we will have to make changes in the future.
The only thing that I missed is the ability to save all the settings to synchronize with other devices, something very useful if we have more pottery with Android or we wish to transfer all the automation to our new smartphone or tablet. By removing that detail, which I hope will come up with subsequent updates, it is a very complete application which is also free. Includes announcements but we can remove purchasing the Pro version with a price of one euro.
