How to record all phone calls with my smartphone?

Under different circumstances we may be faced with the dilemma of having to record a phone conversation that we maintain and we will make the task impossible. Maybe we are doing an interview, or perhaps want to record a call we're doing a Customer Service to record how bad we have served, or because they simply want to have stored a conversation.

Regardless of the reasons that lead us to require the recording of a phone call, we need to know is that today this is possible thanks to the enormous and endless number of tools available for Android for that purpose.

Of course before you start using any of these tools, we should keep in mind some legal aspects regarding the recording of telephone conversations. In this sense, the law states that to record a conversation must have the consent of all parties involved in a telephone call before you start recording.

After I clarified this matter, we can begin to choose what procedure or the app that best fits our needs. At this point, the fact is that the easiest method is to turn the speakerphone mode on the Android smartphone and a second device used to record the call.

To record so we can use a tape of old, a digital recorder, a webcam connected to our computer, one second cell phone or tablet, or any other device that let you record external sound.

However, although it is a really simple method, it is certain that one of the main disadvantages of this process is that the speaker device that we are using to record also includes the remaining noise generated around us .

Another alternative is to use Google Voice, a service that allows us to carry out the recording of a telephone call really simple, because you only have to press the number 4 of the keypad of your phone during a call to start recording, and to stop recording 4 is pressed again.

Of course for this service available on our device the Google Voice app, you can find this link . When we finish recording the conversation in question, the system will give us a file in MP3 format so that we can listen online or download.

However, Google Voice works only with incoming calls, so if we're in the middle of a conversation that was built with an outgoing call, and likewise a line of customer service, this method will not work.

A good option is to use some of the various applications that exist in the Android world to achieve this goal. An interesting alternative is ACR , a free application that can be found on this link .

Among other things, this tool allows us to record and store easily outgoing and incoming calls, and allows multiple formats of recording, delayed start recording, settings for different recording modes, and at the same time has integration with Dropbox, Google Drive and WebDAV.

However, the downside of this app is to record not only our voice, but also the person on the other line, we use the speakerphone, so also will capture part of the ambient sound.

One of the best, if somewhat more complex alternative is to consider the use of an application that works on voice over IP, because in this way we can get better results. At this point, an interesting option is WePhone, whose cost is not too high, and allows us to record incoming and outgoing calls, both short and long distance and international calls.
